Following the successful world premiere and two further performances at the Staatstheater Darmstadt, OPER OTZE AXT is now being further developed at the Musiktheater im Revier in Gelsenkirchen.
The musically exciting experiment by the artists’ collective DRITTE DEGENERATION OST, according to a review by “Die Deutsche Bühne”, will have its NRW premiere in Gelsenkirchen on 13 April. Advance ticket sales have begun at the Musiktheater im Revier for the premiere and the other performances on 19 and 26 April.
The sixth production of the NOperas! funding initiative as part of the Experimental Music Theatre Fund will then go into a second site-specific development at Theater Bremen, where it will celebrate its premiere on 4 July.
